I have been giving a lot of thought to creating my own currency. It would be digital and could only be purchased using other digital currency. I have spent much of that time considering what to call my currency. Since it is ephemeral like all other digital currencies I think “Thin Air” would be most appropriate.

            Now how do I make money selling “Thin Air”. First I need to find gullible people. However, if I only sell it to people who already own digital currency then I have found my suckers. Now all I need to do is sell the coins they used to buy my “Thin Air” currency and put that money into a real investment.

            “Thin Air” isn’t any type of Ponzi scheme. It is just like people buying pet rocks or digital art. Of the three, those who bought a pet rock at least wound up with a rock.
