Former Vice-President and Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden must pick a person to be his Vice-President, Partner, and capable of taking his seat in the Oval Office. Those three factors are critical to his choice but a fourth factor is electability or who is going to cause more people to vote for the ticket than to vote for Trump or to not vote at all.

Bush I’s pick of Dan Quayle was to appease the far right and John McCain’s pick of a woman lost him our vote after we signed his petition. Neither would have been a good President. Bush’s choice was for the base and McCain’s was to get women vote.

Biden has vowed to pick a woman so who to pick is the question. He is being pressured to pick black women who are either unqualified, inexperienced, or don’t share his moderate views. The electability factor is critical. Senator Kamala Harris isn’t going to add California to Biden’s count because it is already there. He needs to hold states Hillary Clinton won and pick off ones Trump barely won. Much of Trump’s independent vote was against Clinton so he needs to bring those back.

I think he should pick moderate Amy Klobuchar who is a well liked Senator from Minnesota. Clinton beat Trump 45,000 so Minnesota should be secure and her Senate seat should be replaced by another Democrat. She would concentrate on the battle ground states Trump barely won. Wisconsin and Michigan could be turned with her concentrating on them and Biden getting Pennsylvania. Winning those three’s 44 electoral votes without losing any of Clinton’s states (227 votes) puts Biden in the White House.

Biden will most likely win the popular vote by several million votes just as Hillary did. As long as we have an antiquated, undemocratic system for selecting our President, only 531 votes count.

A couple of weeks ago someone wrote in that I wasn’t sympathetic towards sexual abuse. My mother raised me differently. She taught me that men and women are equal and should be treated that way. While running one of the engineering groups at Braidwood station, a woman from another group wanted to switch to mine because her boss was constantly making passes at her. My reputation was of equality and protecting my people. You need to know people before judging them.

The letter that the person complained about was my assessment about Tara Reade and her story about Joe Biden assaulting her. Her story smelled and the more her complaining about being abused by father, boyfriends, husband, managers and other men in authority was disclosed, the moe stench was obvious. One team of reporters interviewed over 120 of her friends, family and co-workers. Their finding found she had been know as a liar from youth.

One of her claims was she graduated from Antioch College and was an instructor on their Seattle Campus — neither was true. She moved from city to city leaving behind unpaid bills and finallydeclared bankruptcy for debts of over $400,000.

If there is any doubt she is lying, it should be gone after Douglas Wigden quit as her lawyer after two weeks. He was a lawyer for women complainants against Bill O’Reilly and Harvey Weinstein. Obviously he didn’t believe her story either.

I think she is just mentally sick and has a great thirst for fame. Her lies will be built upon by conspirators and the fake news and social media that many people are duped into believing.

I am surprised this is being published because it is crass, but this is the only way for the question to be asked. Joe Biden is being accused of assaulting an aide. Every time she is interviewed she increases the level of abuse. She has gone from putting his hand on her shoulder and under her long hair, to touching her neck and then to putting his fingers inside her.

The first is probable because he has always been touchy-feely with women and men. I have known many men and women who do this and I don’t appreciate it. I usually duck away from the kisses and hugs. What she originally said happened could have been an absent minded gesture while he was thinking about something else.

I really don’t believe her latest story, not because it is Biden, but it supposedly occurred in a semi-private hallway. It supposedly happened in 1993 when all women were wearing panty hose over their panties. Doing what she said he did would be extremely difficult and not probable. Not wearing panty hose in a Congressional or Senate Office would be unbelievable.

I could believe her first story, but I find her new story to be ludicrous. His staffers at the time said they don’t believe her story either. She only worked there for 9 months. Her touching story was checked by ethics committee and found to not be credible. Granted at the time that ethics committee was just being made more correct to sexual abuse complaints, so I believe their report. He pushed women’s rights long before it was popular. Nope, I believe him and not her latest story.
