        Times have changed since I was a little kid. If I told lies like Donald J. Trump does almost every day my Mother would have burned my butt with a belt. Today we elect people who lie, cheat, harass, demean, and threaten people and companies with dire things.

            Millions of Americans have come to believe half truths and lies as being factual. The constant barrage of these non-facts and lies has caused the majority of Americans to believe we have been screwed by all other countries, that climate change isn’t happening in spite of what we can see, and vaccinations are dangerous among other fictions.

            A few decades ago Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan made a statement which applies in today’s culture of lies. He said, “Everyone is entitled to his own opinion but not his own facts”. Today anyone with any sense can tell the President lies to cover the lies he has already said. He has built a fantasy world which is getting farther from reality every day. Bad things happen to anyone who goes against his reality.

            Trump has not just changed today’s reality he has ordered Federal, State and Local Museums and organizations to change history to suit his views. Slavery gave poor people good jobs and other rubbish. Of course, all reference to his losing an election or any of his crimes and lies about trying to overthrow the election must be removed or be closed.

            I saw a cabinet meeting where Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said, “You’ll like these numbers Mr. President! The tariffs have produced over 300 million dollars on the way to your planned 500 million.” The next week the Customs Agency said they had collected 72 million. So where is the other 218 million?

            One other thing this administration has in common with other authoritarian governments is control of the news media. Putin, Xi, Erdogan, Un, and a few others mostly or completely control all media so lies and other misinformation can be dispensed. Putin killed or locked up reporters who didn’t follow his line. Trump threatens to stop mergers or pull licenses if they continue to print or televise the truth about him or ridicule him. A bad precedent was when ABC gave ten million to an entity under his control. Since then Trump has sued for billions to try to keep newspapers, magazines, and authors from dispensing the truth.

                An old saying is “The Truth is out there.” Unfortunately the truth is way out there and I fear it may not come back in my lifetime.

Imminent Disaster

        Donald J. Trump is famous for business bankruptcies and leaving partners and banks with losses. He is doing it now for the United States. His tax cuts benefits him while running up the National Debt even with a good economy. As we all know every good economy is punctuated by a poor economy which cuts tax income.

            A simple solution is for all the tax cuts to be rescinded when the debt reaches forty trillion dollars and stays rescinded until the debt drops to twenty trillion. If the debt continues to grow the corporate tax and the personal taxes will increase two percent for incomes over 100,000 dollars when it reaches forty-two trillion and two percent for every trillion afterward.

            American has a choice; fiscal responsibility or collapse of our economy by bankruptcy. It is a little pain now or a total disaster later. There is no third choice. Both parties are responsible and voter pressure is all that can avert disaster.

The Future Has Many Roads

        At least four plots and one attempt to assassinate President Donald Trump have already occurred. How many more will take place before he leaves office is completely unknown. Many people and groups feel they cannot wait until 2027 to see if the expected majority of Republican Representatives and Senators will be kicked out of office and another impeachment occurring. Many remaining Republicans would vote for removal.

            The question is would Vice-President Vance be the same or might he see his time would be short if he went down the same road. After President John Kennedy’s death, President Lyndon Johnson kept JFK’s people, who didn’t like Johnson or him they. They were gone later and he had new ones after his election. Congress has the power to remove them thus making Vance put acceptable people in charge of agencies and departments. They can undo Trump’s destruction that he did without legal consent from Congress. Would Vance be like President Gerald Ford and just finish the term of a disgraced President? No Trump supporter would be confirmed as the new Vice-President.

            If Vance kept following Trump’s advisors and those who wrote the 2025 document he would be subject to impeachment also. If that happened before a new vice-President was appointed and confirmed, the Democratic Speaker of the House becomes the Forty-Ninth President.

            The question is how much commotion will happen if someone kills Trump. He has yet to sacrifice his militant supporters like the Neo-Nazis and the other far right militias. What supporters he still really has could be expected to protest with marches and burn up the internet sites. Would the Trump haters march too, or just be satisfied with staying home?

Well Said

        Sometimes I am impressed with how someone says or writes something that I can’t believe there could be a better way of getting the point across. The writer I so admire is a lawyer and trained to put words together to get her point and mine across to the masses. The writer is Maurene Comey, a Department of Justice Prosecutor, who was fired on President Donald Trump’s orders. Why, since she was very good at her job. Was it because she had been the prosecutor on the Jeffery Epstein case or because her father is the former FBI Director, James Comey, which Trump fired for doing his job correctly?

            Quoting some of her letter she wrote to colleagues, she elegantly said: “Fear is the tool of a tyrant, wielded to suppress independent thought.”     In advising other Federal Prosecutors, she wrote: “Instead of fear, let this moment fuel the fire that already burns in this place. A fire of righteous indignation at abuses of power. Of dedication to truth above all else.”

            Comey is just the latest in the series of firings of DOJ Prosecutors who ran cases Trump was worried about. Those fired are all the January 6 insurrection prosecutors, any who worked with Jack Smith on Trump’s crimes, and, of course, anyone involved in the Epstein sex crimes. The FBI investigators were transferred to far off offices in this country and some to other countries.

            Even the people Trump has appointed are fearful of his ire and kowtow to his every wish without any hesitation. Remember Comey’s words which are so well elucidated in her letter because it is so true. “Fear is the tool of a tyrant.” American across the political spectrum must stand up and put the tyrant into a cage before it is too late!

The Real Trump Doctrine

        I watched an episode of Washington Week on PBS. The main topic of discussion was the Trump Doctrine and Trump’s transactional diplomacy. They used the right words but missed the real meaning of the words. President Donald J. Trump’s doctrine is to make as much money as he can out of his last term and it is transactional if people, companies, and countries can put money into his pocket through various ways, they will get his support.

            The list of bribes goes from his stable coin to a 400 million dollar jet. Those are multi-million ones that are obvious. Remember all the items he sold to supposedly finance his campaign but went into his pocket. He is putting his name on a new golf course here but the huge development in the U.A. E. and “financed” by that country and licensing of two new hotels in Saudi Arabia is worth millions more.

            How does that matter to the average American? If a country wants to lower tariffs, put money in his pocket. India is negotiating on a lower tariff. Oddly Trump Jr. just put together a couple of hotel deals in India where they had not been allowed to do before. Don’t forget his strong arming of Canada and Denmark. Remember tariffs are a tax we pay and not the foreign country as he says. Ukraine only got his support after giving up their minerals which I am sure he will be involved in what companies dig them up, transport them, and utilize them.

            When asked about his oath he said it is a question that his lawyers should answer. He has violated it many times and as long as the Republicans are scared of him, he will continue. An impeachment is sure to happen in 2027 when the House and Senate flip to Democrats. He can be tried for much of the corruption without impeachment as it wasn’t a Presidential duty. Oval Office is For Sale

        When I was studying for my real estate agent license the instructor asked how to evaluate the worth of a property. He wanted the answer to be by checking its comparables but I said it’s whatever some fool would pay for it. My backup was many people want some property and will pay whatever they must to get control of it. He agreed but said the test wasn’t looking for that answer. Never has the Oval Office been For Sale before, but it is now!

            Now apply my answer to today’s presidency. Slap a big tariff on a country to force them to give the President’s companies a preferential deal on a property like Viet Nam did. Maybe to gain friendly influence for a royal family they give the President a jet plane or allow him to build several hotels and golf courses in your country like Qatar and Saudi Arabia have done. Let’s not forget India was pressured into a licensing of the Trump name on some properties. Back Israel and build hotels in Gaza.

            If you want a perfect example of bribery it would be the stable coin (same as the Bit Coin scam) that Trump did before taking office. It is in a non-revocable trust that hides the beneficiaries. It has sold over a quarter billion dollars worth do far. The biggest 250 buyers got a gala dinner in the White House with Trump where he pushed crypto currency and other topics for the wealthy. Interestingly he has commuted the sentence of some drug gang kingpin in prison. Is it a coincidence that the sister of one prisoner was at the gala, donating 1.5 million to his campaign with drug money?

            Did anyone notice all the departments and agencies were cut except the NASA Agency where Musk gets millions? Remember, Musk put a lot of money into the Trump campaign and pocket. Is it a donation to give money a Trump campaign and then it goes into his pocket? Is a donation to a Trump company or project just plain bribery? Funny all the Federal Law Enforcement Agencies go after people and companies that haven’t put money in Trump’s pocket and stop the pursuit when those same people pay him somehow?

        President Donald J. Trump has always thought of himself as one of America’s greatest men. His father or someone else he greatly respected probably told him so. He lied, cheated, or bought his way to where he is today. Even as President he cons people into buying his company stock or soon his private crypto currency saving all the money to his family company.

            He believes, and his sycophants tell him, he is the best President ever. They have even talked about Mt. Rushmore again. They compare him to some of history’s greatest men to curry even more favor.

            He is using Wilson’s and Roosevelt’s failed attempts to get Greenland so if he can coerce the people of Greenland into becoming an American State, he will be greater than both of them. He says he doesn’t want to use force but doesn’t rule it out.

            With Panama, a few ultra conservatives thought we should have overridden the lease termination and kept it. He is going to use every threat to get it or as a last resort force. The act, which may will lead to war, and probably the loss of the canal, as well as the last of our few remaining friends. The canal is easily put out of operation.

            Annexing Canada is an old, old dream by a few people but doing so, Trump thinks would make him the greatest ever. History seems to define the greatest presidents as ones that won a war or acquired more area. Some of those Presidents are Jefferson’s Louisiana Purchase, Polk with the Oregon Territory and the Canadian Boundary, Tyler annexing Texas, and Polk goading Mexico into attacking to get the Southwest.

            Imagine Trump’s ego if he got the Canal, Greenland, and Canada, no matter what he did to make it happen.

The King and the XXII

        The XXII Amendment to the U.S. Constitution clearly states “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice…”. President Donald Trump says some of his attorneys have said he could get around the Amendment and run again. Do the attorneys really believe it or are they just trying to curry favor by feeding his massive ego.

            Here are some reasons why he would want to talk about running or maybe try to get around the law. The most obvious reason is his ultra supersized ego cannot be downsized to being an ex-President again for the rest of his life. Another reason is at his age he might die in office and not be around when the next President does away with all his changes.           

            Trump says he is already collecting money for that next term. Trump is a born conman who cannot miss an idea to con or coerce money from people. If a rich person or organization wants to bribe him or keep him from coming after them somehow, then a third term is a great plan. He is raising money today through his internet companies and will sell a form of crypto currency called stable coin. Remember all the items he sold while running the money went into his company’s pocket. He views the Oval Office as his company’s headquarters.

        How can so many Americans be so naive? During President Donald Trump’s first term he said he was going to build a wall across our Southern Border and tens of millions believed Mexico was going to pay for it. After a few years many saw it was a lie. That lie and many others was a part of his loss in his next election.

            Millions more were sucked into the vortex that the 2020 election was rigged even though his own people and their contractors could not find any fraud committed by Democrats. All the criminal offenses were committed by Trump’s own people as in Georgia and Arizona.

            Once the greatest American and perhaps the world’s greatest con man got into the brains of so many Americans he couldn’t help but suck money from them to buy junk. They thought the proceeds were going into his campaign as the usual practice but the money went into his pocket. Poor people were actually giving their money to a self-proclaimed billionaire.

            Today Trump is slapping tariffs on our friends and trading partners while telling Americans the other country is going to pay the tariff. The truth is the product comes into the country and the buyer must pay the tariff to get the product. The producer then passes the additional cost on to the American consumer. The producer pays nothing of the tariff so how can Trump still blind so many people?

            Elon Musk and others have followed Putin’s strategy of faking admiration to curry favor. Musk put up to a hundred million dollars to help Trump get elected so they could get the opportunity to destroy the agencies they had been fighting with on taxes and regulations. Musk just said he would donate another hundred to primary any Republican that stepped out of line. Oh, notice Musk is into cutting all agencies except NASA. Isn’t NASA where Musk gets his big money to run his Space X programs?       

Putin’s Control

        During President Donald Trump’s first term he was friendly with China’s Xi, North Korea’s Kim, and Russia’s Putin while being irritating and nasty to our allies around the world. Why? I have never heard a good answer from anybody in the White House during his first term or any of his other people since.

            So far in his second term he has played to the far right wing parties in France, Germany, Poland, and others. He repeated every lie Putin has said about the Ukraine and has kept the NATO countries which has supported Ukraine from being involved in trying to create a solution.

            A few Days ago it was announced United States, Russia, and North Korea had voted against a declaration saying Russia was the aggressor. Immediately after Putin said Ukraine’s President was a Dictator. Trump repeated it.

            We know that Trump tried to do business in Moscow but was unable and hurriedly left. One story was he had been involved with an expensive prostitute who was the object of some lurid and disgusting things. Does Putin have videos?

            The CIA, FBI, and European Agencies say Russia was involved in Trump’s win in 2016 and were even more so in 2024 campaign. Putin’s cyber teams were so involved in Poland’s election they had to do another. The United States cyber security people said Russia was blasting the internet’s social sites with lies supporting Trump. People believed and Putin’s puppet got elected. Why does Putin have control over Trump? Think about it and why Musk has so much power to destroy our Security Agencies and USAID Department? Putin clapped when he was told about USAID. Tesla has no involvement in Russia so will this open the doors for Musk and Trump? Was Trump co-opted by the KGB in the 1980’s as two Former Russians have said?
