I’m a victim of an attempted coup by over aggressive police, biased prosecutors, and a hostile media. I can’t put quotes around the sentence because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it in Hebrew and it was repeated by his interpreter. Interpreters around the world are saying the same thing in their country.

Trump may not be the leader of the free world or even respected by other leaders, but he is imitated by other incompetent leaders who have damaged their country’s democracy or are involved in corruption. As long as they can blame people in their own governments, their opponents, previous leaders, and, of course, the real investigative media, they can dupe the followers in their country. Being the world’s leader in those behaviors is not one we want for our President.

During the May 24 episode of “Meet The Press” Trump’s National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien said, “The President believes completely in Democracy and the rule of law.” Trump lost the election by almost three million votes and has committed fraud and other financial crimes for most of his life. He has gotten away with it by strategic use of his ill-gotten money. His life of crime may be over if the Supreme Court rules correctly.

Of course O’Brien’s comments had to do with China cracking down on Hong Kong. Perhaps the lesson here is “Do as I say, not as I do.” I really get huge laughs when he holds himself up as fighting against honest media that gives him a break on his lies or doesn’t compare his previous day’s words against today’s words. Perhaps 40% of us are deaf, blind, and easily duped by fraudsters.

Bloomberg Business Magazine discussed the possible lawsuits against companies by their workers who contracted Covid 19. The companies will claim the virus was an Act of God and therefore they bear no financial responsibility. Why do they think the courts will rule against the workers? In 1891, the Supreme Court ruled an Act of God is a force majeure and allows courts to dismiss complaints and void contracts.

Now what is an Act of God? The Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said his term’s financial crisis was a credit tsunami, therefore a crooked developer’s attorney pleaded he didn’t have to pay the lending his personal guarantee of $40,000,000 on the loan of $334 million. His lawyers claimed the credit crisis was an Act of God and therefore fell into the force majeure clause of the loan. The crooked hotel developer finally paid the $40 million seven years later from money he borrowed from the same bank to buy the Doral Golf Course.

That ridiculous lawsuit was never ruled on so thousands of virus lawsuits including ones which will be filed against Trump’s properties are possible. The courts will have to decide if a company can disregard employee’s safety to stay open and turn a profit. OSHA was enacted to ensure safety so a court ruling would overturn decades of laws and rulings.

No, this isn’t about one of the Supreme Court Justices flushing a toilet during the telephone arguments. It is about being the dissenting voice in an administration. The jester is supposed to present the opposing viewpoint when a President is surrounded by people telling him to do something without considering the effect may not be what is planned. A recent example was Colin Powell telling Bush II to really think about not invading Iraq. His “you break it, you bought it” words were over-ridden by Cheney and his cadre of hawks.

This President fires anyone who tries to give him conflicting advice. He found Dr. Anthony Fauci to have twice the popularity and believability rating in polls as he does. Fauci had to correct Trump on a daily basis. He tried to get rid of him in early April and was told by everyone – don’t! Yesterday he thought he could by getting rid of the whole task force and today he said he didn’t know how popular Fauci is, I bet. Every time somebody disagrees with Trump, they are gone.

Every President needs a jester to keep them from going off the deep end. Some, like Trump, have lost touch with reality and live in their own make-believe world. Reagan’s last couple of years was run by Nancy and some of his closest advisors. She protected him and they protected the country. We could use those people today to see the people’s lives wins out over the economy and ego. Trump fires jesters.

This is an open letter to Donald J. Trump, President of Fifty United States and several Island Territories.

You have shown your greatest desires are to pump up your ego, be re-elected at any cost, and leave a legacy. Just as you have denigrated your predecessors and tried to destroy their legacies, the next President, Democrat or Republican, will immediately start to undo the damage you have caused. This will make your time in the White House a mere blip in our country’s history.

However, you can make a real and long lasting decision to reverse your course from destroying life on our planet to making it possible to save it. Everyone knows your inability to absorb any scientific facts and to dream up your own facts. If you would immerse yourself with facts about climate change from the science agencies in your administration, you would recognize how your previous decisions will negatively affect your descendants’ lives. If you don’t change course, it is easy to see those descendants may decide to change their name.

Mr. President, you have only five months to make a difference in how the future views your time in office. The Coronavirus should not have any bearing on this change in your policies to save not only Americans but almost eight billion people. An immediate change can start to save billions of future humans and the destruction of our coastal cities.

Your legacy will be made during the next few months. It can be one of your successors to build on or eliminate. It is your choice.

Our President is the most vindictive of any president we have ever had perhaps one of the most vindictive the world has had since World War II. Others like North Korea’s Kim and Russia’s Putin simply have their annoyances killed or locked away forever. Both Putin and Trump have the nuclear “buttons” nearby at all times!

Putin is cold and calculating. Trump is just the opposite which is scary. Would Trump send troops into a country that disrespected him? Would he go nuclear on Iran if Israel told him to destroy their leadership? He has an explosive, vindictive personality which can erupt over any perceived slight at any time.

During the impeachment several people were subpoenaed to testify. They did and now he is doing everything he can to ruin them and their families. He demands loyalty to him and him alone or else they are attacked by him. The Republicans in the House, Senate and others are so scared of him and his vindictive personality, they scarcely breathe without his approval. Such domination and fear occurs in only a few countries in the world, namely North Korea, China, Russia, Iran, and maybe two or three others.

American Presidents usually have some control over their party but never has one had complete and absolute control over their own party and millions of followers who think of him as their savior. Could they become his brown shirts? Attacks by militia on Jews and other minorities have grown in the past three years. This sounds very similar to 1930s Germany.
