Blind Eyes Can Not Read

        I realize millions of people think Donald Trump walks on water just because he knows where the rocks are hidden. His wandering rants are careful to avoid criticizing the radical groups who are racist and militarist.

            He is proud of his life conning people into investing in some business and then pulling the financial assets out leaving the other investors to declare bankruptcy or he hiring work to be done on a project and does not pay the contractors, driving them into bankruptcy. Don’t forget his college that was worthless and had to repay all the students. Currently his DJT Media is putting millions into his pocket through sales of a worthless stock.

            He sells bibles to believers who forget he has broken the first, third, fourth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth commandments. They keep forgiving him and he keeps breaking them. The eleventh commandment should be he who has enough money to hire lawyers will never go to jail. He has often said there is no one ever greater than him.

            When the people who worked with him when he was President tell you he should never be elected to anything again, people should pay attention. Two hundred of those Republicans, Senators, and State Governors have been screaming his personal faults. Many bi-partisan psychologist groups question his mental capacity.

How can anyone who was in the Capitol after January 6 change their feelings about him? No wonder their popularity rating exceeds only the Supreme Court.  

Narcissism Requires Lies

        More than four and a half years ago I wrote that Trump has said over 7,000 lies during his political career. I can’t even guess how many more since then. Hundreds if not thousands involve his not inciting hundreds of people to try to overthrow the government on January 6, 2021. He knew he lost the election that night and it was tearing him apart so a couple of his closest advisors said it was probably a fraud. He latched on to the idea since he couldn’t have lost. His ego could not accept millions more people voted against him than he had conned into voting for him.

            Based on public appearance, tweets, diatribes on social media and in social meetings a group of psychologists in both political parties have evaluated Trump and found him to have
several mental problems. The two most obvious are his habitual lying and his narcissistic behavior. His inability to accept any criticism and lashing out at anyone who dares to do so indicates mental instability.

            Demanding absolute loyalty and admiration as demonstrated by requiring his secretaries and advisors to state “How great I am” during a special news event at the White House shortly after taking office is an indication of his great narcissism. If his brittle personality confronted the situation where he couldn’t lie or had to confront the truth, or his admirers were deserting him, he would fall apart and lash back in any way he could.

            The psychologists did not believe his mental condition should allow him to ever be in a position of authority. Their opinions were made before he started his latest campaign.

            His 2025 playbook indicates if he is reelected he will never leave the Oval Office because he will have total control.   

Silos Should Be Woven Wire

        A former neighbor’s wife said she will vote former President Trump. When we asked why since Trump had called those in the military “losers”, had attempted a coup, lied on his income taxes committing tax fraud, boasted of committing sexual assaults, and lied about having Covid giving it to many of his friends and their families. He has repeatedly said certain parts of the Constitution and Amendments don’t apply to him. If he wanted a Florida resident to be his running mate he could – that is the XII Amendment violation. He has said the XXII Amendment means he can have at least two more terms if he wants.

            She knows nothing about politics except for what her husband, a former Navy chief, tells her. His information comes only from the right wing websites and media channels. He is located in his silo so she is also.

            How many other people are stuck in the same wacky silos, fearing to hear the truth and shake walls they have built around themselves? Many of those people only associate with those people in the same silo, feeding on each other’s more wacky thoughts and misconstrued information. This creates conspiracies and groups of armed radicals like those leading the January 20 riotous insurrections.

            How can a person support someone for any political office that boasts of his criminal acts and insanity? How can groups support him because all the other politicians are crooks and dictators? Trump is the poster boy for everything they hate and fear. Trump says what they want to hear, just as Adolf Hitler told the depressed German people. We know how that turned out for his close friends and supporters. He had them eliminated.

            Silos that have solid walls which don’t allow conflicting information to be considered will lead to Democracy’s demise!

        Former President Donald Trump’s defensive plan is to stall all the trials until after the election. If he happened to win he thinks he would be safe for at least four years and then only if he can’t figure out how to extend his second term.

            Once he was indicted no time limit has an expiration date so he would still be in jeopardy when he left office. Maybe Trump is looking to pardon himself for all federal crimes and get the Republican Governors to pardon him for their state’s crimes. Both he and the Governors would pardon his co-conspirators so they wouldn’t be pressured to testify against him.

            One question is why would he be free from any trial if he won in November? He would not be president until January 20’s inauguration. What happens if he is found guilty? It will probably go to the Supreme Court.

            Another question is; if Trump is found guilty after the election but before January 20 and sentenced, does his Vice-President get sworn in as President? Back to the Supreme Court I suppose.

            So many questions; if he won but none if he loses the election. Let’s hope he loses and the country’s legal system isn’t put into greater disrepute! The three Justices he set on the Supreme Court have shown their loyalty to him so far. The Judges lied repeatedly during their confirmation hearings so they can be counted to always vote in Trump’s favor.

RNC Shake-Up

            Former President Trump dumped the leadership of the Republican National Committee. Why? Last year Trump got money from the RNC to pay some of his legal fees. After a revolt from the donors RNC leadership said no more. They only had a few million to do the job but needed ten times that amount for supporting down ticket races.

            What is Trump’s solution? Fire everyone at the top of the National Committee and replace them with a friend and his daughter-in-law who knows nothing about the job. Her qualification is she will do what Trump says including signing checks to pay his bills. He doesn’t care about the rest of the party especially if they don‘t kiss his hand or any other part of his body.

            How will the small and large contributors feel about their money going to pay Trump’s legal bills that have nothing to do with anyone else’s campaign? He believes he is the party and everyone else is expendable. That philosophy has always been his way of life. Three wives; two divorced and current one bought off with a new contract, and a galore of hookers and molesting, $100,000 to Planned Parenthood tells about his morals. How can any religious person support him?

        Donald Trump has made a political career of trying to be a leader of ideas and groups that are already established. He has become a chameleon who was able to go from supporting Planned Parenthood to being a leading antiabortionist. His castigating and demeaning those dictated by his paranoia allows him to come up with some nicknames he hopes will catch on by others.

            He has said he hopes the economy will crash and inflation will skyrocket. He says one disruptive thing after another. My age group would normally call someone like Trump a blow-hard. A blow-hard boasts about their abilities, their supposed accomplishments and how great they think they are. An extreme blow-hard requires some kind of adulation from those around them. Many blow-hards suffer from a paranoia because others might not share the greatness concept of himself. That need of blind loyalty is a symptom.

            Blow-hard may not be in current psychiatric journals but it describes the mental aberration better than any medical words could describe.

            January 14th, Trump asked a group of supporters to vote for him over liars, cheaters, perverts, frauds, crooks, freaks and creeps. All of those words describe the blow-hard character of Donald Trump, who is a prime example of each.

Forgiveness Impossible

I remember a very religious born again Southern Baptist woman saying she supported Donald Trump because her religion allowed people to have a second chance through forgiveness of sins. One tenet of forgiveness is for a person to actually want to change. Trump’s personality has been built around lying, demeaning, deceit, crime, sexist and racist behavior. Trump is like a leopard that can not change its spots.

Picture a boiling teapot which must let out steam or explode: Trump just can not be quiet and truthful to people. He would explode if he was quiet. Trump has cut down his political opponents here and our allies around the world while having a love-fest with our enemies. During his presidency he told the world how misunderstood North Korea’s Kim is, and how great China’s Xi, and Russia’s Putin are! Trump recently reiterated his admiration for Putin and his own ability to negotiate a Ukrainian-Russian peace without saying any ideas.

His past strategy against business and legal opponents has always been to delay, delay, postpone, change attorneys and start over in court until the other side quits or goes broke from legal fees. That is the same strategy he is using in his campaign, all his indictments, and civil cases.

Trump cannot help himself. He has lied and cheated all his life. Narcissism and paranoia are almost genetic to him and has infected one of his children while the others have decided to stay away in the current run for President.

Interesting Question

        A talking head on CNN made an interesting comment about justice. He said “Let’s face it; we aren’t going to put a former president in jail”. It presents an interesting question about security and pension.

            At what point do we stop treating a former president as some kind of untouchable King or Pope? Can they kill someone without consequences? Some misdemeanors carry a 20-year sentence. Former President Donald Trump is accused of committing a crime in Georgia. If he is found guilty what will the judge do? Does house arrest at one of his luxurious properties seem fair to the millions having served behind bars or white collar resort prisons? Would his secret service agents be involved? These questions need to be answered in the next few months. Who will make that decision?

            Another question is whether a former President who commits a crime should receive the $230,000 dollar pension, unlimited healthcare, round-the-clock security involving agents, buildings, hotels, travel, and other costs? Many Representatives and Senators have lost their pensions for some criminal activity.

            Congress should establish some limits on pensions, security, and justice. Would the criminal activity apply only to federal crimes and could state crimes like Georgia’s charges be included?

            Interesting questions and the Constitution prevents any ex-post facto laws so Trump might not be included. Some rules or laws need to be decided upon and planned for the future. The sooner the better. We all agree with Trump saying, “No one is above the law.”

I Am Confused Too

        A great saying that is applicable to many situations is “If you aren’t confused then you aren’t paying attention.” I have been paying attention and I am greatly confused.

            Former President Donald Trump has stated many times that “Nobody is above the law” so why does he keep saying he shouldn’t be on trial because he is campaigning?  Six or seven years ago he said “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and wouldn’t lose any voters.” After both of those statements why does he not want trials to free himself?

            Twice he has said he wants a quick trial so he can campaign. Of course, the longer he is indicted or in a trial, the more money the duped supporters will send him. Another charge which those donations will create is using that campaign money to pay his attorneys. Those attorneys are doing everything they can to delay all the legal proceedings into next year or later.

            His attorneys say he is in trouble because his previous attorneys told him he had won and needed to do everything he could to prove it. He believed them which got him into doing wrong. Trump’s history with lawyers goes back to around forty years. Delay, delay, delay was his first direction and taking their advice was seldom, if ever, taken. Maybe that’s why they have trouble getting paid for their time. His current ones are getting paid up front! He says one thing and tells his attorneys to do differently while conning millions of his followers to give him money!

            I am really confused because I pay attention to what Trump and his lawyers say. When the evidence is overwhelming, the defense is always to delay as long as possible.

Nobody is above the Law

        The media keeps talking about Former President Trump’s payment of $130,000 for a tryst with a porn star when that in itself is probably legal. The cover-up was illegal as former President Richard Nixon often said.

            This cover-up involved having his lawyer negotiate the payment, pay it, and then reimburse the lawyer claiming it as a business expense. That is among other rules, regulations, and laws illegal. One report said he paid the reimbursement with several checks making each a count of breaking the law. That is over thirty felonies.

            The New York City indictment pales to his pressuring of the Georgia Attorney General to “Find” enough votes to give him Georgia. In his own words he kept pressuring after the A.G. said he couldn’t do it. That broke so many laws and after the Grand Jury has given its approval to go forward, Trump’s attorneys are just waiting for the boot to fall.

            Other possible cases are the tax frauds in many states concerning the real estate taxes on his buildings. In addition to those frauds are the over evaluations of those properties when getting loans against his supposed equity. Each of those instances is fraud.

            After hanging many of his lawyers out to dry by blaming them for his legal problems or not paying his bills, many offices have declined to represent him. He has to hire second tier offices that require sizeable up-front payments.

            Donald Trump’s own words betray him as he often spoke off script. He also said many times “No person is above the laws.” Neither should a crooked former President!
