What a decision Attorney General Merrick B. Garland has to make in the next few months. No former President has ever been tried for a crime. AG Garland may well be forced to make the decision to form a grand jury to try former President Donald Trump for several crimes including treason.

            Garland has to decide if he tries Trump, what the reaction will be from Trump’s deceived followers and is it worth the possible violence. Should he hold off until after the mid-term election? What should he request in the pre-trial negotiations for Trump’s punishment? The possibilities are jail time, home confinement, parole with no politicking, social media, interviews, public meetings or something else. All would involve public statements about how and why he conned people into believing “The Big Lie” and other conspiracies put forth by his friends and others.

            If he decided to go the max and put Trump in jail, where would it be and where would his security detail be? Perhaps the Secret Service agents who have been covering for him should be his protective detail inside the prison. There is a difference between physical protection and criminal activity like destroying records and tests.

            The Attorney General is supposed to be independent and Garland has shown he agrees with that policy. Whichever path he decides to take will probably be expedited to the Supreme Court where Trump placed three Justices – one of which is Clarence Thomas. Thomas is sure to overturn any conviction of Trump.

            Whichever way Garland goes it will make him the most historic Attorney General since Mitchell.

            He started a cult which made him an idol. Violence was dividing the country’s people. The opposition was denigrated so he could gain power. The power brokers who put him in power found they had created a beast they couldn’t control. He was responsible for a failed uprising. Political enemies were too scared of his power to confront him. He met with his country’s enemies and called them his friends. His influence and power put his sycophants into positions of power to make sure his plans for total control was carried out. Those people were in law enforcement and judicial positions. He had ideas about eliminating the legislative body making him the total leader. He was a narcissist and demanded total loyalty to him over their country.

            If this sounds familiar, it should. He started World War II with his gigantic ego.

            Karma is when bad things a person has done in the past come back to haunt them. Sometimes the person manages to keep past crimes hidden because people don’t consider it worthwhile or unlikely to convict the person for the crimes. Sometimes they stay hidden.

            Some CPAs spend their work lives learning how to confuse their client’s taxes or hide the evasion. Often those CPAs participate in the crime of evasion.

            Why is this relevant today? Donald J. Trump, his children (minus Barron), and their corporation are in great trouble for tax evasion. Both New York City and the State of New York are investigating his property evaluations for loans, appraisals and real estate taxes.

            Their appraisal for the Westchester Golf Club was inflated by saying membership initiation cost was $150,000.00 when the real figure was usually a third of that figure. Another deception was to say the land surrounding one of his country mansions as having other mansions built on it, thus raising the value of that land from raw to developed. The Penthouse in Trump Tower was supposed to be 20,000 square feet making it several times more valuable than its 6,000 square feet. When thee appraisals were used to get loans that is criminal fraud.

            Using other appraisals for paying real estate taxes on the same properties which are much less than the actual value is tax evasion and criminal fraud. All the evidence is in front of Grand Juries and indictments are probable.

            Some of the more famous conspiracies are the base to many of the anti-government groups. They feed on the gullibility of people who aren’t happy with their lives. They look for something to help them believe some elite secret group is running their government and hurting them somehow.

            Republicans hated Franklin Roosevelt so they concocted a story that FDR forced the Japanese to attack us at Pearl Harbor. FDR was supposed to have kept the admirals and generals from knowing the attack was coming. History shows General Stark and Admiral Kinner were told to prepare for an attack a month before though the war games thought the Philippines was the most probable target. The November 30th Honolulu newspaper stated an attack was imminent. Millions believed the “Big Lie”.

            Another long lasting conspiracy is JFK was actually shot from the grassy knoll by either Hoover’s FBI or the CIA. In lieu of those two government agencies the oil execs in collusion with the Russians or Cubans paid Oswald and Ruby to kill Oswald. LBJ was another possible conspirator.

            Every decade seems to have another conspiracy to help gullible people find some solace for their alternate reality. Trump’s “Big Lie” about the 2020 election may be the main one for this decade. It has been disproved by Republican Governors and many audits conducted by Trump biased groups. Even Trump’s front people deny any mistakes when under oath. Still, gullible people want to believe the lies.

            I think that line was in a Shakespeare play about one character trying to keep another from the truth. That line is very relevant today as Trump tries to keep us from finding out the full story of the January 6th insurrection.

            Trump is going to try to hamstring the select committee by every legal and illegal means he can buy or coerce in hopes of thwarting their efforts in finding the truth. He has tried to prohibit his psychopaths from testifying. He is trying to keep the records and notes that pertain to their involvement secret by going to court.

            He is fighting several criminal investigations and trying to keep most Republicans scared to go against him. A few like Kinzinger and Cheney are openly against him while many others are hoping he will go to jail or go away.

            If Trump is as innocent as he, his Psychopaths, and his media friends proclaim then why the obstruction strategy? This has gone far past the Watergate cover-up. The greater the cover-up, the greater the crime.
