As I write this I am very tired of hearing the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu throwing the Holocaust up as the reason for some criminal activity he has committed. Purposely killing tens of thousands of people living in Gaza with bombs and artillery is okay because they wanted another Jewish Holocaust and he is defending Jews. He allows right wing Israelis to kill West Bankers without any attempt to apprehend them. He has broken agreements on not building houses in the West Bank where the Palestinians live using the Holocaust and Jewish right to the land.

According to the history of their people by Jewish Archeologists, they were a savage tribe that neither the Hittites nor the Egyptians want to mess with. Ramses I wanted to invade the people to the South and expand his empire to get resources. In order to protect his East Flank he hired that savage tribe to relocate there. They flourished with the yearly payments and not having to work on state projects like all Egyptians not in the army. In a matter of a few generations they quit being fighters and became lawyers, doctors, administrators, store keepers, etc. and worshipers of the Egyptian Gods. Some of the people thought their new life was against their heritage and persuaded the people to leave their lives of luxury. A good portion was forced by their new leaders to leave. They got out before the current Pharaoh could gather enough forces to go after them. They did not cross the Red Sea but the Reed Sea which was actually a tidal swamp. (Much of it is now the Suez Canal and Its infrastructure.) They left during low tide and the Pharaoh got caught during high tide. After they crossed over they split up for forty years to relearn their warrior ways. Their children absorbed the ways of their hosts. One family learned of a new God and its religion spread.

Now comes the “It’s Our Land” Netanyahu uses in his pronouncements.  According to Jewish History they swarmed down the Golan Heights and slew every man, woman, child, and animal in what is now Northern Israel. As they expanded South their reputation caused tribe after tribe to leave or die. That’s how they got their land. Soon many of them were back into the professions who the Babylonians captured and took back to help grow their own intelligentsia group.     They were captive about fifty years before being returned along with their families.

The Tigris River’s yearly flood may have been the basis for Noah and the Flood scribes would later use. The river people used large family and animal sized square boats made with reed and tar during each year’s flood.

Isn’t it interesting the war Netanyahu is waging against the Palestinians is very much like what those people did to the Tribes several millennia’s ago?

As much as Israel and this administration would like for the public to think, there is a huge difference between the two. I have friends and former clients in all the major religions and just like Americans they don’t always agree with what their government’s leadership is doing. If a person looks closely at some of the protest marches, one will see some Orthodox Jews in the crowd. Thousands of Israelis are and have been for more than a couple of years against Netanyahu and his government in Israel. Netanyahu and his media people and Trump’s P.R. people want Americans to think both are the same.

Is it wrong to protest the indiscriminate bombing of the Gaza civilian population? Independent organizations agree the bombing has killed way over 40,000 civilians many of which died when their apartment buildings collapsed. Many have starved to death, couldn’t get their medicines, were bombed in Israel designated safe areas, or shot when the medics were rushing to help the injured.

The history of Israel is one of killing the residents, taking their land, and forcing others off their land. They then razed the land and put kibbutzs on it. They ticked off the British and later the French. They have guilted the United States into giving them hundreds of billions of military and economic aid. We accept their misbehavior because not doing so would be called Anti-Semitic.

How many more Jewish people are in those marches is not known because they look just like other white skinned Americans in the March.

A Lebanese once told me all of the problems are caused by money. Both sides need money to get richer so the fighting must continue.

Those are the words of Fareed Zakaria who is a very insightful reporter on CNN. He sums up the hope and mistakes the administrations have made since former President Dwight Eisenhower’s CIA meddled in Iranian politics. Each administration since has felt the policy needed to be fine tuned while leading to today’s disastrous situation.

Most Americans do not know that Iranians are not Arabs which were the racial basis for the CIA’s policy. This was the time of the so called Brush Fire Wars around the World. The CIA’s meddling caused many of them so they thought they could control the Arabian Peninsula by having a strange white military power that could put down and rebellions or wars in the oil-rich Middle East.

Not everyone in Iran’s new democracy was interested in attaching themselves to either side of the Cold War so we got rid of the elected leadership and installed the hereditary ruler – The Shah of Iran. We trained his army in how to put down any dissent and moved the religious leader, who wanted to do away with the secular culture, to France.

One President after another kept up the façade that all was well in Iran until former President Carter’s morals pulled his support from the Shah. The religious minority was about to gain the support of the young and overthrow the government. The upper military and government people either fled or were killed. The new Anti-American allowed the Ayatollah Khomeini to return and become the religious and political leader of Iran. He incited an Anti-American fervor and policy which led to the taking of the American Embassy and Carter’s loss to former President Reagan. Carter had stopped supplying weapons to Iran so Reagan’s people worked out the guns for hostage deal. The deal depended on Iran holding the hostages so Carter could not claim the victory and win a second term.

This feeling of anti-Americanism and religious Shiah Muslim fervor created a regional problem for the United States and the Arab countries it was now friendly with. Whether we encouraged former President Saddam Hussein to invade Iran or it was totally his idea, we supplied some supplies and lots of satellite images of the Iranian positions and movements. It was Reagan’s way of revenge for the Embassy. Saddam lost but Iran lost hundreds of thousands of cannon fodder militia and trained soldiers. This created the need to use Arab insurrectionists to upset the political leaders of the Arabian Peninsula countries and of course, Israel.

When Iran was just getting into Refining Uranium, the major countries developed a treaty restricting how far Iran could go with the enrichment. It was working although their support of those working to create dissension in other countries continued. Former President Donald Trump pulled out of the agreement, enrichment shot past the agreed percentage. Trump’s verbal treatment of Iran’s leadership increased, Iran’s leadership worked to hurt Americas by reduced affection of its people to Americans. That is why they hate Trump and want to hurt him physically or his chances of re-election.

Iran is a great example of how the United States has not planned for the long term future. Ever since our leaders decided we should interfere with the little countries around the world we have put in dictators, tyrants, and killers. – All just to get our way for a few years.

A  New York law firm has stated they will not hire anyone who is against Israel meaning Anti-Jewish. The Anti-Defamation League said in response they agree in a lot more words. Funny thing is nobody stood up and said tens of thousands of Israelis in Israel are saying the same things. Is that why the League is being so circumspect in their agreement? Could it also be many of those protesting in this country are also Jewish?

Just like in this country, we have a far right group who controlled a President with their support and losing that support would be disastrous to his power. In both countries being out of the cover of the office means criminal charges for past offenses. Netanyahu was in the process of being indicted by their Supreme Court which he later tried and failed to reduce their power. Netanyahu did not respond to intelligence about the Hamas plans for the raid that has caused the war and keeps him in office for now. As more groups fall away from his support he has directed the destruction of Gaza and the killing of tens of thousands of civilians, overlooked his right wing supporters  killing tens if not hundreds of people on the West Bank, and approved the construction of over three thousand new homes on West Bank land that Israel signed in a United Nations agreement was Palestinian land.

Israel may be founded of the Jewish religion but the protests are against its leaders and policies against a people they have forced off their land, killed thousands, and done everything possible to eliminate. Looks like another Holocaust, doesn’t it?

Two Fences with a Narrow Space Between

I can argue both sides of the Hamas-Israel War without any effort which is why I have a gap between two fences. Both parties have inflamed the other side.

The Israeli’s pushed hundreds of thousands Palestinians off land their ancestors had farmed hundreds of years before. The ones who didn’t leave have not got full citizenship even if they have a couple of seats in the Knesset. The ultra right-wingers are trying to take away those seats and any right they have now. A few of the ultra-right Israeli Zionists do things to cause protests by the Muslims and reactions by the police and military. The people of Gaza or those on the West Bank may shoot someone or blow themselves up in frustration and revenge for an Israeli action. Every time they bomb an apartment building killing families, they create more Hamas fighters.

The Israeli’s leadership and ultra-right have their own agendas which is to overreact to any action. The majority of the Israelis would like an equitable peace between all three sides. Some past Prime Ministers have done deals with the PLO to make peace in spite of what the settlers have done. Israel does supply water and electricity to Gaza as a humanitarian effort but they frequently cut it off for actions of a few.

Both sides get massive subsidies for their economies and their military organization. The United States gives money because of Jewish political leverage in Washington D.C. and originally because we stopped most Jewish immigration from the Nazis. We have worked to eliminate or greatly lessen any conflict with the area’s Arab countries. They have cut some subsidies to Gaza in hopes of ending conflict but Iran has stepped up its support of Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

I think the wars would be over if all subsidies were stopped by American and the Arab countries.

We have learned our Intelligence Agencies told the Israeli Agency about the activities in Gaza. For some reason they did nothing to counter the possibility of the massive attack. Israelis who survived the initial attack on their Kibbutz want to know why the army did not react to sappers opening the gaps in the wire barrier. One settler said the army was always there in minutes when a bird or pig touched it.

The satellites showed Hamas was concentrating its missiles for a barrage on September 28th. October 5th, the CIA gave another warning and the next day the Israelis were reporting theirs and U.S. intelligence of the major increase in activity. The attack occurred the next day, October 7th, when Hamas launched its attack. An Israeli source said Netanyahu didn’t want to ruin the country-wide parties.

We can be absolutely sure that Netanyahu was informed before the sixth so the warning could be distributed. Why did he not move troops to where the attack was aimed? Why did he not warn the area settlers? Did he decide to wait until the Hamas troops came over the border to kill them? Did his plan go awry? Did he allow this to happen so he could divert attention from the over 100,000 protesters that are against his pushing to cut the Supreme Court’s power and his taking the land on the West Bank for his ultra-right wing supporters.

I don’t support either side in this war because both sides are to blame. The Israelis are finally going to do what we did when he moved the people off the land they had lived on for hundreds or thousands of years. We said it was God’s way of giving the Europeans a home. We only killed eighteen of the twenty million through diseased blankets, starvation, or with lead. I guess bombing ten story buildings with families in them is the modern way of exterminating those people Israelis don’t want.

Today the count of civilians killed by Israel in their fight against Hamas is approaching 20,000. That number is more than one third as many as was killed by the first incendiary attack on Tokyo. It is about the same fraction as the intended experiment in creating a firestorm when we and the British bombed Dresden.

In Dresden people in the underground bomb shelters were suffocated when the raging fire burned up all the oxygen. The fire’s heat created a suction so strong fleeing people were pulled off their feet and into the flames from blocks away.

In the United States we put all ethnic Japanese in what were really concentration camps. Germans with the same skin color as the rest of the Americans were ostracized in most of the country. Long after the war both ethnics were “not good Americans” in my home county.

Advance the morals to 2023 and now it is terrible to bomb apartments killing Palestinians in Gaza. On a smaller scale than World War II, is Israel justified in killing people forced to live in the congested strip of land? Remember Israel exists on the former Palestinian land because the Israelis bulldozed the homes generations had lived in and destroyed their fields and groves so they had no choice but leave. Will killing thousands pacify the Palestinians or cause them to hate Israel even more, causing Hamas and other groups to get more support?

More and more people around the world are turning against Israel’s tactics and siding with the Palestinians. Israel is trying to wipe out Hamas with minimal loss of their soldiers. That means, as one cabinet member said, “Killing all the vermin.”
