        During President Donald Trump’s first term he was friendly with China’s Xi, North Korea’s Kim, and Russia’s Putin while being irritating and nasty to our allies around the world. Why? I have never heard a good answer from anybody in the White House during his first term or any of his other people since.

            So far in his second term he has played to the far right wing parties in France, Germany, Poland, and others. He repeated every lie Putin has said about the Ukraine and has kept the NATO countries which has supported Ukraine from being involved in trying to create a solution.

            A few Days ago it was announced United States, Russia, and North Korea had voted against a declaration saying Russia was the aggressor. Immediately after Putin said Ukraine’s President was a Dictator. Trump repeated it.

            We know that Trump tried to do business in Moscow but was unable and hurriedly left. One story was he had been involved with an expensive prostitute who was the object of some lurid and disgusting things. Does Putin have videos?

            The CIA, FBI, and European Agencies say Russia was involved in Trump’s win in 2016 and were even more so in 2024 campaign. Putin’s cyber teams were so involved in Poland’s election they had to do another. The United States cyber security people said Russia was blasting the internet’s social sites with lies supporting Trump. People believed and Putin’s puppet got elected. Why does Putin have control over Trump? Think about it and why Musk has so much power to destroy our Security Agencies and USAID Department? Putin clapped when he was told about USAID. Tesla has no involvement in Russia so will this open the doors for Musk and Trump? Was Trump co-opted by the KGB in the 1980’s as two Former Russians have said?

        Donald Trump has often been compared with Adolph Hitler for the way he is able to mesmerize people into doing his will while maintaining a hands-off stance. The January sixth insurrection was a great example. Another is his effort to overthrow the election through the use of his devoted minions. He could have pardoned them all but that would have cast a shadow on his reputation and his innocence.

            However, Trump has now changed historic char actors by explaining how he would end the Russo-Ukrainian War during and interview saying he would force Ukraine to accept a new Eastern Boundary and give Putin 20% of their country. In return the Ukraine would stay neutral and not join any political or economic associations with the West. Maybe the original comparison is right. His stance on Ukraine was the reason for the last assignation attempt.

            Historians know this was much like the “Peace in Our Time” agreement England’s Chamberlain made with Hitler. Hitler had marched his troops into the Rhineland without any interference. Then he wanted about a third of Austria. The Western Powers, England and France agreed to his demands for Peace. Since they were so compliant he didn’t think they had the backbone to go to war over his conquest of Poland.  He invaded on September 1st and the Allies declared war on the third.

            The West must give complete and unrestricted support of the Ukraine. This must put an end to Putin’s quest for conquest. He has gone for one country after another who stood alone with their little militaries and lost parts or all of their countries. The world couldn’t help Poland to survive.  We must help Ukraine. Putin’s next target is Moldavia where he controls about twenty percent already.

Why are the Russians being so aggressive with their Internet “Disinformation” here and in other countries? I think the reason is now obvious. Trump said many times over the years that the United State should not be in NATO. The Russian social media campaign against Clinton was about her great support of NATO and its mission against Russia. Putin wants NATO to be broken up so they won’t be mutually supporting each other.

NATO and the European community have imposed sanctions on Russia, Putin, and some of his friends for invading Ukraine. The Ukraine was the second invasion by Russia. The first was Georgia when Russia lopped off a third of the country and it only got lip service. Now he is threatening Estonia, so NATO sent a brigade to it and the other Baltic States. His plan is to take back the Warsaw Pact countries. Then with a weakened NATO perhaps he takes the rest of Europe by coercion and from within by internal dissention.

The short game is to keep us from defending Eastern Europe. A secondary purpose is to create so much dissention here that our attention will be inward. The playbook for this strategy was written in 1930s Germany. A few radical right people took control of the government and we know what happened. Like it or not we have to stand together against Russia within NATO.
